Chapter I — The calibre

Three hundred
and eighty-one parts

The AN-19 opens as you scroll. Beneath the dial: a 5N gold rotor, anglage chamfers cut by hand on every bridge, and a free-sprung balance with a Breguet overcoil beating four times a second. Scroll further and the rotor winds the reserve indicator on the dial above.

Chapter II — Materials

Titanium, sapphire,
and one polished bevel

Grade-5 titanium is milled from a single billet, bead-blasted on the flanks and mirror-polished on the bevels — a contrast that only appears after four hours at the tin wheel. The box-domed sapphire carries double-sided anti-reflective coating, so the dial reads as though nothing sits above it.

  • Grade 5 titanium
  • 5N gold rotor
  • Box sapphire
  • Chroma-lume

Chapter III — In the dark

It keeps reading
after the light goes

Eleven applied indices and both hands carry a two-layer chroma-lume charge. Fully lit it glows for eight minutes and stays legible for eleven hours. The room dims as you reach this chapter; the dial does the rest.

“We do not decorate a movement to hide it. We decorate it because someone will look.”
