Reference headphone
Every surface,
machined.
A closed-back reference headphone in midnight anodised aluminium and steel. Fifty-two parts across eleven assemblies, and not one of them decorative.
01 — Suspension
The band is one sweep.
A crowned strap follows the skull instead of approximating it with facets. The liner beneath is inset, stitched along both edges and skived at the rim, so it sits flush with the shell rather than on top of it.

02 — Housing
A closed drum,
not a shell.
The housing is turned as one piece, then bored for the driver. The grip ring is knurled with 140 radial ridges — relief, not print — so the key light breaks along each one. The badge is a hex cut from the same billet.

- 140
- Wall

- Pivot
- Steel pin
03 — Comfort
Depth you can hear.
The pad is a closed loop with a real cavity behind the driver, so the ear sits in a chamber instead of against a wall. Its throat rolls over six points — the one place on the product that had to be moulded rather than cut.

04 — Assembly
Eleven assemblies.
Band, two arms, two hinges, two housings, two faceplates, two cushions. Each is a named node with its own pivot, which is why this view is a translation of the model rather than a second model.
05 — Finish
Three finishes.
One material story.
The shell, the trim and the knurled ring take the finish. The cushions stay leather and the liner stays knit, because those are the parts that touch you.
