Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Altavera Technologies for using SceneUI — accounts, plans, what your licence allows, and what it does not.
01Who we are
SceneUI is an interactive design library operated by Altavera Technologies. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Altavera Technologies, and "you" means the person or organisation using the service.
You can reach us at altaveratechnologies@gmail.com for anything in this document.
02Accepting these terms
By creating an account, opening a paid plan, or using any part of the library, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company, and "you" includes that company.
03Your account
You need an account to save designs, keep projects, or subscribe. You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google or GitHub.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
One account is for one person. Team seats are for named individuals and may not be shared by rotating a single login between people.
04Plans, prices and billing
We offer a free tier and paid plans. Current features and prices are always shown on the pricing page, which forms part of these terms.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in your country. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction. We never see or store your full card details.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation stops the next renewal and the plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
Lifetime purchases are a one-time payment for the plan as it exists at the time of purchase, including the features we describe as included. They are not a promise that every future feature will be bundled in, and they do not cover Team seats.
We may change prices or plan contents. Changes to a subscription price only take effect from your next renewal, and we will tell you before that renewal if the change affects you.
05What you may do with designs
A design in the library is a starting point. When your plan allows it, you may copy the source, adapt it, and use it in your own work.
On the free tier, designs are licensed for personal, non-commercial evaluation and learning. On Pro and Team, designs are licensed for commercial use in an unlimited number of your own end products — client work, your own products, internal tools and marketing pages.
You do not need to credit us, though it is always welcome. You may modify a design however you like; the result is yours to ship.
06What you may not do
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish the library, or a substantial part of it, as a competing library, template marketplace, UI kit or course.
- Share your account, seat, or exported source with people who do not hold their own licence.
- Use the service to build a product whose main value is the designs themselves rather than what you build with them.
- Attempt to bypass access controls, scrape the library at scale, or interfere with other users' access.
- Upload or publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the rights to use.
- Use the service to distribute malware or to attack, probe or overload our systems or anyone else's.
07Your content
You keep ownership of the designs, projects, text and images you create or upload. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process and display that content so the service can work — for example, rendering a saved project back to you.
You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload, including fonts, images and client material. We do not review user content and are not responsible for it.
08Keeping the service usable
The library runs live previews in the browser. Automated harvesting, bulk rendering, or activity that degrades the service for other people may be rate-limited or blocked.
We may set reasonable usage limits to keep the service stable, and will publish them where they affect a paid plan.
09Third-party services and code
Some designs depend on open-source packages such as Three.js or React Three Fiber. Those packages remain under their own licences, and you are responsible for complying with them in your own project.
Our service also relies on third-party providers for hosting, media storage, email and payments. Their terms apply to their part of the service.
10Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service online, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages and security work can cause downtime.
We may add, change or retire designs and features. If we remove something you rely on, we will try to give reasonable notice, and paid plans keep the access they were sold with for the period you have paid for.
11Ending your access
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms — for example by redistributing the library or abusing the service. Where the breach is fixable, we will tell you and give you a chance to fix it first.
If we end your account for a breach, refunds are handled under the refund policy. If we end it for our own convenience, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
12Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Designs are provided as development starting points, and we do not warrant that any design is fit for a particular purpose, free of third-party claims, or accessible to a specific standard in your final implementation.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
13Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of data arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or the price of a lifetime purchase, whichever is lower.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
Before starting formal proceedings, please write to us — most issues are resolved faster by email.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Material changes will be announced in the product or by email before they take effect.
Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
